Fleet Bioprocessing attending ELRIG Drug Discovery 2026

Fleet Bioprocessing will be attending ELRIG Drug Discovery 2026 at ExCeL London on Wednesday 14 October.
This year’s programme is particularly relevant to our work in Antibody Drug Conjugates and Bioconjugation. We are especially interested in the Auditorium 3 track, “Targeted potency: Advances in radioligands and bioconjugates,” which explores emerging approaches in targeted therapeutics, ADC technology, conjugation strategies and novel payloads.
These themes align closely with an area where Fleet can provide practical support to ADC developers: acting as an outsourced R&D resource for bioconjugation and proof of principle development.
For smaller and emerging biotech companies in particular, building dedicated conjugation and analytical capability in-house may not always be practical at an early stage. Fleet can provide the experimental resource needed to prepare, purify and characterise ADCs, helping customers generate the data required to compare approaches and progress promising candidates.
Our ADC and bioconjugation support can include:
ADC library synthesis
Proof of principle conjugation studies
Conjugation and process development
Handling of high potency drug payloads
ADC purification
Drug to antibody ratio (DAR) determination by HIC
Size variant and purity assessment by SEC
Free drug analysis by RP-HPLC
Endotoxin testing
In many programmes, the customer already has the antibody, linker, payload or overall ADC design defined. In these cases, Fleet can operate as an extension of the customer’s R&D team, providing the laboratory capacity and bioconjugation expertise needed to translate that design into well characterised material and a more reproducible process.
Where required, we can also contribute to conjugation strategy and experimental design, helping investigate variables such as coupling chemistry, conjugation conditions, drug to antibody ratio and process robustness.
Fleet can also support wider pharmaceutical development and bioanalytical requirements. Our immunoassay capabilities include development for Pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), biomarker applications, anti-drug antibody (ADA) and immunogenicity studies, as well as other custom pharmaceutical assays. As a Gyrolab™ Certified Assay Transfer and Development Partner, we can also provide rapid, low volume, high throughput immunoassay development, optimisation and transfer, supported by our in-house critical reagent and bioconjugation expertise.
Teodora Patrascu, Bioconjugation Chemist at Fleet Bioprocessing, will be attending ELRIG Drug Discovery 2026 to hear the latest developments in ADCs, bioconjugation and targeted therapeutics, and to gain insight into emerging technologies and industry approaches.
