Fleet Bioprocessing attending the CADDA Annual Conference 2026 in Manchester on 15 September

Fleet Bioprocessing will be attending the CADDA Annual Conference 2026 at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology on Tuesday 15 September.

Organised by the Centre for Advanced Diagnostic Development and Application (CADDA), the conference brings together researchers, industry and diagnostics specialists to discuss new developments across the diagnostics landscape.

The programme covers innovation in the diagnostics ecosystem, challenges in diagnostic development and the translation of new ideas into practical diagnostic products, alongside CADDA supported projects, poster sessions and networking opportunities.

The themes are closely aligned with our work at Fleet Bioprocessing. We provide contract support for Immunoassay Development, Lateral Flow Assay Development and Bioconjugation, together with Complementary Services including Protein Purification, Formulation, Dispensing and Lyophilisation. Our teams can support projects from early feasibility and critical reagent work through assay optimisation, performance verification and transfer to manufacture. Fleet is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.

Alastair Dent FRSC, Fleet Bioprocessing’s Managing Director & Quality Director, will be attending on the day. Alastair has 35 years’ experience in process development and manufacture, with expertise spanning diagnostic assay development, bioconjugation, experimental design, GMP and the development of robust processes for manufacture. He is also an author and consultant in these areas and has contributed to a range of publications, including Bioconjugation: Protein Coupling Techniques for the Biomedical Sciences and The Immunoassay Handbook.

If you are attending CADDA and would like to discuss diagnostic development, lateral flow, immunoassays, bioconjugation or related development support, Alastair would be pleased to meet you in Manchester.
